Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Tokyo

Arrival at Haneda Airport. Airport pick-up after 22:00 and transfer to the hotel. Overnight in Tokyo.

Day 2: Arrival From Europe & TeamLab Visit

Arrival at Haneda Airport, airport pick-up, and transfer to the hotel. Rest time after check-in, followed by an evening visit to TeamLab Planets Digital Art Exhibition. Overnight in Tokyo.

Day 3: Tokyo Sightseeing

Visit the Imperial Palace area, Ginza, Hibiya, and Shibuya. Enjoy a Sumo Show and welcome dinner in Japan. Overnight in Tokyo.

Day 4: Tokyo City Tour

Visit Meiji Shrine, Harajuku, Tokyo Tower, Akihabara, and Asakusa. Free time for lunch, coffee, and dinner. Overnight in Tokyo.

Day 5: Tokyo – Hakone / Mt. Fuji – Tokyo

Travel by train to Hakone-Yumoto. Enjoy Lake Ashi, boat ride to Togendai, cable car to Owakudani and Gora, and visit the Open-Air Museum. Return to Tokyo by train. Overnight in Tokyo.

Day 6: Tokyo – Matsumoto

Visit Odaiba and enjoy Tokyo Bay views before lunch in Tokyo. Travel by train to Matsumoto, check in, enjoy dinner, and optional karaoke. Overnight in Matsumoto.

Day 7: Matsumoto

Private transfer to Daio Wasabi Farm, enjoy a wasabi snack lunch, visit Matsumoto Castle, and explore the Yayoi Kusama exhibition. Free evening. Overnight in Matsumoto.

Day 8: Matsumoto – Takayama

Send large luggage to Kanazawa and travel by public bus to Takayama. Visit the open-air museum, join a handicraft activity, explore Takayama’s old streets, and enjoy dinner at the ryokan. Overnight in Takayama.

Day 9: Takayama – Shirakawa-go – Kanazawa

Visit the traditional morning market and museum in Takayama. Travel by private transfer to Shirakawa-go, explore the village, then continue to Kanazawa. Free evening. Overnight in Kanazawa.

Day 10: Kanazawa

Visit the Samurai District, a samurai house, Kenrokuen Garden, Omicho Market, and the Geisha District with entry to a geisha house. Free evening. Overnight in Kanazawa.

Day 11: Kanazawa – Kyoto

Travel by train to Kyoto. Visit Arashiyama, Japanese macaque area, a Buddhist temple, and bamboo grove. Check in and enjoy dinner in Kyoto. Overnight in Kyoto.

Day 12: Kyoto – Uji – Nara – Kyoto

Visit Uji, known for matcha and historical culture. Enjoy a traditional lunch, then travel to Nara to visit Todaiji, the pagoda area, and Nara Park with its famous deer. Overnight in Kyoto.

Day 13: Kyoto

Visit Ryoanji Rock Zen Garden, walk to Kinkakuji Golden Pavilion, visit Nijo Castle, and enjoy an evening walk in Gion. Overnight in Kyoto.

Day 14: Kyoto

Visit Ginkakuji Silver Pavilion, walk the Philosopher’s Path, visit Heian Shrine, enjoy downtown Kyoto, and visit Fushimi Inari. Overnight in Kyoto.

Day 15: Kyoto

Enjoy a tea ceremony and kimono dress-up experience in Gion. Walk to Kiyomizu, explore Nishiki Market, visit Kodai-ji evening illumination, and return by taxi. Overnight in Kyoto.

Day 16: Kyoto – Osaka

Visit Ohara, a peaceful countryside area near Kyoto, including a traditional village and small Buddhist temple. Return to Kyoto for lunch, then travel by train to Osaka. Overnight in Osaka.

Day 17: Osaka – Hiroshima – Miyajima – Osaka

Take the bullet train to Hiroshima. Visit Miyajima Island, the famous floating Torii Gate, and a Buddhist garden. Enjoy traditional lunch, then visit Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park and Peace Museum before returning to Osaka. Overnight in Osaka.

Day 18: Osaka – Kurashiki – Osaka

Travel by bullet train and regular train to Kurashiki. Return to Osaka and enjoy leisure time. Evening visit to Dotonbori for dinner. Overnight in Osaka.

Day 19: Osaka – Himeji – Osaka

Take a day trip to Himeji with free time for coffee or lunch. Return to Osaka by bullet train. Free afternoon for optional sightseeing such as Osaka Aquarium. Overnight in Osaka.

Day 20: Osaka – Airport Departure

Free time for last shopping, meals, coffee, or individual sightseeing. Late check-out at 14:00, airport transfer, and departure from Japan.

Day 21: Arrive Home
